Thought it was about time I went here, given that I live round the corner! Very small place with a counter and a few tables, like many places in Japan. Lunch menu offered sushi and sashimi selections and a bento box. In a good sushi place (I think, anyway) this is the best way to order as the chef gives you what's freshest and best; and what turned up was very good sushi indeed. Miso soup and a small tofu and bean sprouts dish came out first, with Japanese tea. The sushi selection was six pieces of nigiri, salmon, prawn, tuna, horse mackerel (my sushi recognition skills might have let me down on that last one though!), and four assorted maki. All very good.
The service was fine and tea refilled throughout the meal. All in all a grand little place, and a bargain at fourteen euros. I'll be back one evening soon to try the dinner menu.
