As an antidote to big restaurants and impersonal service, Non Solo Té is the way forward.
Tuesday to Saturday, Joris serves a max 14 covers with a menu which he writes up on a blackboard. There's not much choice – only a couple of dishes available per course – but he's a gifted chef and his talent shows in the cleverly executed dishes he serves. We ate pan-fried foie gras and delicious sea bass with fantastic root vegetables and a sauce made with jerusalem artichokes that was just inspired. if you prefer, you can order wine by the glass and Joris will match the wine to whatever you're eating.
On the night we ate here it was one-man show, but it was also a tour de force. You need to book to secure a table.
