Unfriendly personnel Food was cold and not enough. Their Thali looked as left-overs from the week before. Far too expensive for what we got on our plate.
Never again. I was embarrassed to have invited friends over there.
Finally they refused to accept American Express (even with AmEx sticker on door and still today on their website http://www.resto-saffraan.be ) and refused to give us the reduction promised during booking.
Believe they went broke some time ago (not surpising)

If this place was a little cheaper I think I would of been happy to eat there. The curry's seem to lack authenticity and spice. The onion bahjees were SO expensive - at about 7 euro. In most Indian places these are the cheapest thing and are usually around 2 euro. They were just presented in a very fancy manner but weren't the best I've eaten. They give you about 1 poppadom per person for an insane price - which is insane considering how cheap these are to whip up. It was all very adequate but the price was way too high for the quality.

Overpriced and not quality. Cold food is never good. There are much better Indian restaurants in Antwerp.

Been here a couple of times, last Friday the lamb vindaloo was to die for, just the right amount of spices so that we could enjoy it 100%. Great naan with garlic and coriander and dry rice to accompany this fantastic meal. The wine list is interesting, with good priced house wines and gems such as The Hedonist, a fantastic red wine to pair our dish. One of the best Indian restaurants in town.
