“Fun eating experience”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

This was so much fun. Don't put on your best clothes since chances are you will get greasy. Just sit down, order spareribs and wait for a waither to come by with a full plate. You just pay 15,- and are allowed to eat as much as you like!

“An exellent place to enjoy delicious ribs...”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

Every time that I come to Belgium this is one of my favorite restaurants ever and there is no other place in the world that can make delicious and tasty ribs like Amadeus. Also the service is very good in all the ways.. I recomend you to make a reservation because sometimes is to crowded and there is no table...
Give it a try !!

“Definitely not with a big group”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

The setting was great for a wonderful evening with a team dinner to the festive season. The location was great the place looked great but then the serving began;..... Obnoxious waiter thinking that he was doing us a favor by taking drink orders started to annoy most people at the table. Ok there were many big tables and being Friday, they knew they would be busy.
The food came. Our team leaders had organised the orders in the office so that they would have everything organised and in which order to serve the food. Starters and main course. A blessing for any restaurant owner or manager.
But it all went wrong.
They came around for the orders and as for the drinks well; it looked like they were not interested in serving us and when we ordered another drink it was like asking for a 100 euros. The food was cold, and the deserts were stale. A place I personally will never go again.

“Come hungry; they simply won't stop plying you with ribs”
Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

Excellent value if you are a big easter or if you happen to be utterly ravenous after walking Antwerp and find yourself near the MAS. Garish fin De siecle decor, well heeled clientele, and exceptionally tasty ribs. There is no menu-just some d dioramas of possible meals as you enter the waiting area to be seated. We arrived early, around 6, but by 7 the place was nearly packed, mainly with locals as near as I could tell.
Great rib and baked potato smothered in butter was 16 euros and the ribs are on QN all you can eat basis. Wine is from a big 1.5 liter bottle on the table but I'd just recommend a beer instead as the house red is barely drinkable.
Overall an interesting dining option in Antwerp.

“Brilliant at What it Does”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

Although everyone goes to Amadeus for the ribs, it does offer alternatives.

The building was once a glass factory [I believe] and you can see remnants of that in the surroundings. - . Well scrubbed tables - limited menu - but with excellent rib related stuff [ baked potatoes etc.] and good, cheap plonk on tables. - just drink what you want from bottle on table and agree the amount/price with waiter at bill time no rip off stuff here - they are just wanting you to drink [or not] what you want and pay for it along with your meal when you go.

You can eat as much in the way of ribs as you want within the price.

I love ribs and therefore Amdeus. It's a lovely place in an intersting area [between the trendy renovated Docks and the other kind of the same offered round the corner in the red light area.

Classic Antwerp.
