We decided to go there because I'd seen it's high rating on trip advisor, but clearly I hadn't looked through the reviews properly. When we arrived we were told that there's a set menu of 6 dishes, which I was not expecting. Again, maybe if I'd checked the website before going I wouldn't have had this surprise.
Food: Very nice food, some of it quite spicy. The mix of the flavours was really well done, the presentation was beautiful and the taste was good. But to be honest we didn't leave with a feeling of "wow" for it. It was tasty food but nothing amazing.
Atmosphere: The restaurant is in the owner's house, so the atmosphere is quite homely and relaxed with chilled music in the background. The only problem about that was that the meal takes almost 3 hours so between the low lighting, chilled music and the food, you start to get sleepy pretty early on. However it's a nice place to go with your significant other as the atmosphere is quite romantic.
Staff: Very friendly and attentive. Every time they bring you a dish they take a minute to explain what's in it.
Price: This is where I was not happy; I felt it was too expensive. Ok, so you get a lot of food (you'll definitely be stuffed by the end), an aperitif and dessert, but I really was not expecting it to be €60 per person. My boyfriend however said he was expecting that amount, so maybe I'm just not used to prices in Belgium (I'm Spanish).
Overall: We found the whole experience quite pleasant and really enjoyed the food. However I'm pretty certain we won't be going back. Main reasons are the meal takes almost 3 hours, the food is good but it's nothing amazing, and the price is a bit much.
