Description: Visbistro Mojo is the place where seafood and seafood are the main ingredients of delicious and affordable meals. That quality and freshness will be of paramount importance here, speaks for itself. The passion for the profession and the sense of adventure of the chef make sure you will enjoy themost delightfully prepared seafood. Do you like more meat than fish? Do not despair and ask for the meat suggestions. That you can here every day. Visbistro Mojo wants to distinguish itself from other bistros by asking you to allow yourself your main course together or make a selection from the 'creations-of-the-head "on the chalkboard.

This is probably the best restaurant in Antwerp price/quality... if you like fish, of course. The cook changes a piece of fish into a feast of flavours... Every time we go there, we enjoy the experience. Try a choice of starters and choose your main course from the board... Ask Nuria to give some recommendations. Also, they serve excellent Spanish wines and cava! To repeat and repeat and repeat...

A wonderful unpretentious small bistrot serving fresh shellfish and fish.

The preparations are minimal and let the product shine. Value for money, this ranks way above other restaurants that pretend to serve the same. Service is just one lady, probably the owner, at least that was what I concluded from her patience, kind attention and courtesy.
Shellfish soup was stunning yummy, for 8 euros, a steal. Simply baked seabass extremely good. Other items also good, with delicate seasoning.

There is a certain spanish-maybe basque-maybe galician flair to the cooking, which I liked. The same is true for the wine list, with splendid value, even if most wines seemed of the fruity alcoholic type, rather than the french or italian no-oak mineral superdry that the food seemed to want.
Very small tables and cramped seating, but at this price/quality level, acceptable. Cloth napkins!

Other reviewers who seem to prefer Fiskebar are imho very wrong.

Two friends and I visited this restaurant for Lunch, in this instance my first visit. An excellent Menu of Fish Dishes. The quality and taste of the fish by far the best I have eaten. I would recommend any visitor to Antwerp to have Lunch there. The waitress was so nice and friendly

We had a very good meal here. My starter, a scallop salad, was OK, I would have preferred a few more scallops (only 3 very tiny ones) and the dressing was a bit to salty. My girlfriends shrimp croquettes came close to perfection. Then we both took the cod with truffelravioli. A well prepared giant piece of cod and a tasty sause, but only two little pieces of ravioli and no salad or vegetables aside.
So my general impression is: excellent fish, but maybe a bit more attention to the side dishes.
We'll be back to try out some more stuff.

We had an absolutely delicious meal here for a reasonable price. The place is simple and down to earth. Can highly recommend it. Because the place is small, you should try to make a reservation. They have a website, so you can get their phone number there.
