Ruben's house is amazing. It has beautiful architecture, great paintings, history and an attractive garden. The only reason that I don't rate it as 5 star is that there is scaffolding up (Oct 2013) against the archway into the garden, and the paintings have only a number written under them which you have to look up in a booklet to know what you are seeing. Some paintings/sculptures also not referenced..... You appreciate how rich Rubens was, what great taste he had in painting purchase, and how well a wealthy Dutch household lived
