Nice place to have a drink or a meal next to the Antwerp dock ("eilandje") and the MAS museum. Couches for having the aperitive....

There is nothing to see about this buikding. It houses the city archives so if you have some historic research to do, this is the place to be. As a tourist though, there's nothing special about this building.

Great place for dinner or to have a drink. Near MAS, the new museum.
Food is good quality for a reasonable price

What once was a relatively out of the way big restaurant in a white painted warehouse in the Antwerp port area has been moved more to the centre of the Antwerp action since the MAS museum opened. The former clientele of local office workers is now battling for chairs here with packs of the elderly, retired visitors of that huge red monstrosity. In summer the terrace in front of "The Felix" is a great addition to the area, the gentrification of which its opening was a definite milestone. The food is hearty and good if not tending to the category of comfort food and thus slightly heavy. The fish and chips with traditionally british mushy peas are a hit as are the homemade, fresh daily, soups. I agree with a former reviewer that there could be more vegetarian options ( there had been a delicious Flemish vegetable stew that has recently left the menu) and, especially, that the prices are getting way out of control!!! 18 Euros for a lunch of mash potato and sausage is taking things a bit too far these days especially as, with the even further gentrification of the area, there is more, equally good if not cozier, competition in the area (Les Entants Terribles to name but one good alternative). Service was very slow in the past but seems to have improved considerably recently. The staff are generally quite handsome and very friendly.

They did not offer any vegetarian options for apetisers (even the soup was with meat). The only option to eat as a main course was a risotto with just cream sause. Not really a nurishing meal and quite pricy. Would not recommend. Pretty traditional and unhealthy plain food.
