Booking a twin room via a 3rd party hotel site only 3 weeks before we stayed made me apprehensive about what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised.
The location is great, a short stroll from the train station and the zoo. The room was much bigger than expected and the en suite was huge. The room was clean and looked out on to the back of other buildings which was fine as it meant a peaceful night's sleep. A Nespresso machine and (empty) fridge was a welcome touch and the free wifi was reliable.
Breakfast was a simple buffet affair with the small drawback of the coffee machine being out of order and no replacement available despite there being a Nespresso machine in every room. Our room was air conditioned too which was great as it was quite a humid week.
Staff were friendly and helpful and considering we had the option to use the spa/leisure facilities of the sister Radisson Blu a short walk away I think it was pretty good value for summertime and booking at short notice.More
