This small hotel is full of charm, very quiet and relaxing. The tastefull architectural touch is visible all over. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The greeting and service is done in a very friendly way. Breakfast is all you need.
At a first place I didn't want to recommend this hotel as I wanted to keep it as a secret gem ... We had room called YAB which was top.

The rooms are amazing. My favourite is the Gents'. Nice breakfast, great in the summer when you can sit outside. The bathrooms are stunning. I sometimes prefer to come here although I have to be somewhere else in Antwerp or in another city in Belgium.

Room Tip: The Gents Room is my favourite.

This is a truly lovely tiny B&B--just five rooms in the Jewish district of Antwerp. The property is the work of two architect/designers and the rooms are lovely. The staff equally lovely. There is a beautiful garden in the back and breakfast is nice. The staff helped in wrapping a package for me; they went totally out of their way to help.

Le Tissue is convenient to central Antwerp but also in an interesting distinct neighborhood. The only downside--there is no air conditioning, but unless you are in the midst of one of Antwerp's rare heatwaves that is not an issue.

Thank you very much for you kind words and for the appreciation of the hotel.

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay despite the heat wave. Fortunately you stayed in het Chivasso room with air conditioning.

We look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

Kind regards,

Daan van Thiel

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and to feel at home. The house is luxurious, with a pretty garden to sit out in and have breakfast if it is not too hot/cold/wet.
My wife and |I had the Chivasso room on the top floor which mercifully had air conditioning, and was cool enough even during a record heat wave.
My mother was in the Jab room, which is larger and very luxurious. She was born in Burma so did not mind the heat!

Room Tip: Chivasso has air conditioning but has loft style sloping ceilings and beams. Jab is large and more luxurious

This is the most outstanding hotel I have ever visited and I have 270 hotel nights per year. Just wow. The combination of an interior design office with fabric swatches all over the place together with a hotel is just wow, wow, wow. The owner is on top an extremley nice host. Highly to be recommended!
