I should say at the start, that when I booked through a big online agency, I got the room for half the price of the rate published by the Best Western at the time, so this rather affects my review.
The hotel is a 15 min walk north from anything of tourist interest - taxis at Antwerp central station wanted 15 euros for the ride. The street the hotel is in seems like a normal street with offices nearby. The hotel seems like a fairly standard Best Western - rooms are fine with standard bathrooms. Couldn't see a minibar fridge, but standard TV, safe, cupboards and plenty of lighting came as part of the package. Reception staff member was friendly and helpful.
Be very aware that hotel reception is *not* 24 hours - if you'll arrive after 10 pm, you absolutely must phone ahead or you won't get into the hotel building. If you've already checked in, your room keycard will give you building access at all hours.
Breakfast was suprisingly good - felt no need to eat lunch.
If you're paying the full price quoted by the hotel, it's probably a little too much and I'd suggest finding somewhere in a location closer to the city centre. If you get a good discount, then this place will do absolutely fine.More
