We bought a Groupon-coupon to have a tapas dish here and a bottel of wine.
We had e wonderful evening, nice wine!
The tapas were not that inventive, 2 small pistolets with crabsalad and préparé, ham, some cheese, a chicken wing.. for the price on the menu we would not take it.
But the groupon formula was great!
Nic place to sit, even in autumn, we could still sit on the heatet terrace!
Nice!

Waitress was rushed off her feet as she was the only one working that night, but still took the time to translate (menu is only in dutch) and even recommend dishes based on our preferences. The food was excellent, both the local dish of stew made of beef marinated in beer (much lighter than it sounds) and the vegetarian pasta (gorgeous).

On a cold day in October 2012 we were attracted by the simple, elegant facade and the prospect of having a glass of the advertised Laurent Perrier champagne was another good reason for us to try Zoro for lunch. Boy, was that a mistake. Finding good restaurants in Antwerp is not difficult ...finding a bad one like this is not that common. The 'welcome' was unfriendly, the interior is dark and run-down. The service is slow and unfriendly. Our selection was not available so we went for the vegetarian wok which was ok but nothing grand. The only thing that lived up to its ambition was the price.

Zoro is a restaurant with French cuisine. We visited the restaurant and enjoyed a breakfast with bubbles (cava). We were first given a glass of cava and a glass of juice. Then they brought us 2 croissants, 2 chocolate cakes, 4 rolls, 2 boiled eggs, cheese and smoked ham, jam, nutella and butter. At our request, the coffee was served after breakfast.
The young waiter was polite and friendly. We paid with a gift that was accepted without problems. We will definitely come back again.

I've never seen a service industry business that actually thrived under a regime of targeted rudeness, but good luck with it.
