Agree with all previous reviews. Copious breakfast with delicious cured hams, cheeses, a variety of breads. Spacious, spiritually tranquil rooms, tastefully decorated. Polite hosts.

However what is not mentioned is that Paul knows his diamonds!!! Having relatives in the trade and having worked in the industry for decades, he can provide direct assistance that few other B&B owners can. Had I the budget and time, I most certainly would have requested his help for more sparkling best friends!!!

We stayed here for one night during a flying half term visit to Belgium. We would love to have stayed longer as this really is a lovely place. The 1870s house has been beautifully restored by the very nice Belgian owners. Our 2 rooms were extremely stylish and a pleasure to be in. Paul, our host, gave us a map and then recommended restaurants, travel cards, nice walks etc. In the morning he prepared the most marvelous breakfast...cold meats, breads, cheeses, fruits a delicious "asiany" dish and offered more but we couldn't manage it. We heard about the house during the war and more recently for tv filming. Apart from Rubenshuis my favourite walk was along, Cogels Osylei, looking at all the art nouveau houses.

Absolutely lovely, neat and tidy B&B with only three rooms. Right in the heart of the city center, but still away from the street noise. The room was very spacious, furnished in an essential but cozy style and with exquisite taste. Must have been established recently, as everything was brand new, but still with a lot of character. The bathroom was clean and the shower was quite big. The landlady was kind, available and descrete. Breakfast was good and served in a cozy room with pleasant background music.
The only flaw was the bad sound insulation with the adjoyning room, which can be really embarassing. We were the only guests for three nights and we slept very well, so luckily we realised that only on our last night.

We stayed for two nights in the Antwerp B&B's White Room. Light, spacious, stylish, very good bed. We had a private ensuite bathroom, which was located across the hallway. If you don't like that: book the Black Suite instead. Paul and Patricia are your kind and helpful hosts. The pleasure with which they run their B&B made our stay wonderful and memorable. A warm welcome, great tips and hints on how to best explore the city. The B&B is located in a very central spot with good public transport links. We explored Antwerp by bicycle and loved seeing it that way!
And... it's been mentioned before: the breakfast which Paul and Patricia serve is very tasty, with an abundance of fresh products and with a little hint of Asia here and there (the couple lived and traveled there for a long time). We'll be back for sure!

We stayed at an Antwerpen B&B for one night and I would agree with the previous reviewer that it was really excellent. The building is beautiful, very nicely renovated by the hosts and owners Paul and Patricia. We stayed in the Black suite which was elegant, spacious, clean and in general very comfortable. The room has free WIFI, complementary water; tea and coffee making facilities and if we needed anything else (like umbrella) we got it instantly. Paul and Patricia are great hosts and made our stay very comfortable. They had the map of Antwerp and suggestions for places to go and eat ready for us. We went to one of the restaurants recommended by Paul and enjoyed it very much. The breakfast was really good and huge, with everything freshly made and an extensive selection, with a quality well above the average hotel breakfast. They're conveniently located, close to the central station but on a quiet street. I would highly recommend this B&B.
