Room tip: Bring your own hair dryer as the one supplied in the room does not work well. The kitchenette is nice but is missing a bottle opener so be prepared.

Well located close to the Centre and opening out to a main shopping street . Rooms are large by European standards and comfortable . Separate WC , shower and bath tub Areas are a good convenience , but wish the partition of the bedroom with the bathing areas was not just a curtain - always find this disconcerting ! Not much of a hire but at least windows that let in natural light .
The lobby area is cheerful and coffee and fruit are on the house any time . Wifi is free for all .The breakfast buffet is pretty standard ( they don't do omelettes on request , which is a downer! ) but the fresh orange juice squeezer is a nice touch .

Like many other reviewers have said, this Novotel is in a fantastic location. Bang in the middle of shopping area, you step outside directly into the city centre. 10 minutes walk from the Central station, it was easy to find. My husband and I stayed here with our 11 year old son; room was modern and spacious and worked well as a family. Clean and modern, shower however didn't hold a steady temperature. Also, there is significant building work in the large building directly next door, and our room overlooked this, and there was some noise from this. We paid extra for breakfast, but weren't given enough breakfast tokens. We were given 4 tokens for 4 nights, and assumed we needed one per day. But no; it's one per adult per day... which we found out when we were refused breakfast day one and had to argue our case, then go to reception. Also, 3 of the 4 days there was no clean cutlery or bowls at breakfast! Breakfast is served in the 'living room'; the only communal area which got very busy at breakfast with very few seats available. Overall it was a good stay in a great location, but definitely could have been better.

Room tip: Ask for a room facing away from the building works

Had a great 4-night stay here. The suite was spacious and well laid out,
the hotel's an easy walk from both HS and Central train stations, and all major tourist attractions. There's free tea/coffee machine, fruit, and (sometimes) cake, in reception. Staff are helpful and friendly and quick to help with any issues (we had a problem with the door of our room).

If you're staying for more than one night you can choose to not have your room cleaned and you get a €5 voucher for the hotel food menu which is good if you're on a budget - the food is decent but not the best - though we only tried the toastie and fries. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

It was a bit weird that there was no crockery/cutlery in the suites but you can borrow this from reception and there is a great Albert Heijn supermarket almost opposite the hotel.

I loved the concept of the open reception/lounge area and the suite amenities were great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We spent a few nights at Novotel Suites The Hague. The roomrate was around 159 €/night- without breakfast.

Likes:

Outstanding location. Im just fond of it.

The suite is spacy and evertyhing looks well maintananced.

The Bed is comfy, but optically if you take a picture of it, it looks rather grumpy. Maybe bec the matrasse doesnt have frame.

The toilette is separated from the bathroom/shower area.

The ambiance is modern and stylish.

An eco-hotel.

Dislikes:

The constraction works from outside. It even starts very early. Imho at 8 am. Even if the windows are closed.

The water in the shower turns cold after a few seconds.

The water at the toilette is always cold.

The laundry (bedsheets/pillows/towels) smells a bit. Like acid or something. They need to change their softener or use a good one.

The long way to the room from the entrance through the receptionist.

Only 1 bottle of water upon arrival. I thought the water is at least complimentary on daily basis.
