Beautiful buildings and a lovely court. Walk by if you are in the vicinity but you can't always visit inside the buildings since these are our houses of parliament still in function.

No guards, no guns no nothing. This is where the Dutch government wroks and the ministers arrive by bicycle, there are tourists walking everywhere and the minister president earns about $230.000 a year. It is illegal for him to earn more then that. It is a beautiful old building with some upgrades for foreign dignitaries. We saw a car leave the area and pillars went into the ground. After the car left the pillars came back up to prevent cars from coming or going into the binnenhof.

This area is so beautiful. I been there when it was opening new parliament. Its really beautiful to walk there. so relaxed. I don't want to compare with any other place but I was wondering how different our parliament house and place than here.
this is really beautiful to walk and know the history.

Everybody visiting The Hague should walk here. History has been written on this location. The Prime Minister has still is office in the small round tower at the lake side

I love the fact that this beautiful area is freely accessible both day and night. It is like stepping back in time and your imagination takes over as soon as you enter through the archways. You can almost hear the horses hooves hitting the cobbled streets and imagine the lamplighter at work as night falls. I have not been able to gain admittance to the Hall of Knights, but saw a little of the magnificent interior when Queen Beatrix read her speech there in September 2012 to mark the opening of the new parliament. Make sure you walk through at night; it's really beautiful.
