“ICJ”

I walked from the central Den Haag train station to this very must see landmark in The Hague.I highly recommend stopping by at the visitors center to get a deep knowledge about the International Court of Justice. You should get an headphone and a torch like gadget to point and listen.

“Multi-lingual audio”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

The history of this famous site is presented through a series of panels which contain photographs, videos and historical items such as an original fan, all of which feature in the story of the Peace Palace. We were impressed with the supplied, no-cost individual headphones which allowed us to move at our own pace and listen to the audio in our native language. We were not able to enter the Peace Palace itself but would be really interested to do so. We were advised to watch their website for tour dates and times. The next probable opening of the Palace will be November 2012 but the exhibition we were impressed with is usually open Tuesdays to Sundays.

“First class audio tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012 via mobile

A wee bit of a down side to start off with, no guided tour or access to anywhere other than the visitor centre.

The audio tour however was first class and free and this review is based solely on the audio tour as a result.

The tour was free and lasted for about 30 minutes, you were treated by lady at the desk who was polite and handed you the headphones and gave good instructions on how to use the tour.

The exhibits were first class and very modern technology used to inform you about the history of the palace. Some of the exhibits were a bit tricky to get working, but hey that's technology for youat times.

I would certainly recommend this if you have the time to fit it in.

“An important part of The Hague's history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012

The Peace Palace is not open to the public but has an excellent information centre where you can trace the story of this magnificent building with a free audio guide. The exhibits are well-presented, the staff are helpful, and there are some souvenirs for sale.

“Great building”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

A beautiful palace close to the centre of The Hague. You can't go in, but it is possible to book a tour and take a look around.
If it's possible make a reservation and tour the peace palace. It's a unique place to visit away from he crowds.
