Located in the heart of den Haag, this hotel is comfortable and clean. The receptionist was exceedingly polite and helpful and like most Dutch people, spoke English fluently.

The room was average in size, had pleasant decor, a queen size bed, nice bathroom, minibar, trouser press, iron, safe, free WiFi, plenty of towels, work area and a flatscreen TV. There were BBC channels and other languages available as well as radio. A note of warning to parents with younger children - there is an adult channel that is free to view and leaves nothing to the imagination.

The bathroom had a bath as well as a separate shower that was nice and powerful. The twin toilet roll holder was set very close to the toilet though. I had a problem with the bed insomuch as it has a memory foam mattress. This was the first time I had slept on such a mattress and it seemed to dip towards the middle of the bed making it as though I was sleeping on an incline. There were 2 of these mattresses on the bed. The pillows were also memory foam. My preference is still for duck & goose filling in a pillow and a good hard sprung mattress but I am sure this memory foam will suit many others.

I ordered breakfast in my room and it was classic Dutch with cold meats and cheese as well as scrambled egg and fruit. There is a small charge for room service of €4.50 and it arrived on time.

Checking out was done in less than a minute and was very efficient.

I love this city but because of the bed would choose a different hotel next time. Everything else was very good.

This hotel is located on a beautiful street in a great town. It is an exceptional hotel - very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. The free welcome drink in the lovely sitting parlor is a nice touch. Hotel staff very friendly.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years but never submitted a review. It has its own style and can be regarded more like a boutique hotel. Every room is different but very comfortable. The reception staff and restaurant staff always provide efficient and welcoming service.

The hotel is located close to the centre in a very pleasant area, and it is a short walk to many bars and restaurants.

Highly recommended for business or leisure travellers.

Spent three great days in this hotel. The accommodation was wonderful, clean comfortable room and excellent breakfast. The staff were very friendly while still being professional in all their duties.
At the end of the day it was lovely to unwind in hotel bar with drinks served by yet again another excellent staff member. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Room Tip: the hotel is located in a quiet area so no need to worry about traffic but it is stiill within walk...

We stayed here à couple of months ago. Check in was fast, the (theme) room was nice but not that big. Room was very decent though.

We had a great day in The Hague and after à great night of sleep our weekend was topped off with a fantastic breakfast. One of the best I ever had in a hotel. Eggs and pancakes where cooked when ordered and eveything tasted great and superfresh.

Overall, we had a great time and very good stay.

We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and the fact that we wanted to spend a few days outside of Amsterdam on our recent NL trip and we were not disappointed at all - in fact, this was our favourite part of the holiday.

We loved walking around The Hague, taking the tram to Shevingen Beach (drinking beer and eating fries with mayonnaise there); shopping in the little boutiques - and the restaurants! Yum. Had our best meals there.

The hotel is lovely-it's a fairly noisy intersection with lots of traffic zipping up and down but it's a lovely neighbourhood, with embassies and huge leafy trees and lots of ambience. Our room was large and comfortable, the bathroom lovely with a deep tub for soaking - we were very happy with everything. We had a corner room and so got a cross-breeze, which is good because the few days we were there happened to have been the warmest and sunniest of our NL stay.

Breakfast was excellent - not included in our room rate so we found it a bit pricey, but it was such a great buffet with everything you can imagine - meats and cheese and breads and even champagne - that we didn't feel a need for lunch. I wish it had been part of our rate though and would try to get that next time.

We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

we had to spend more time than foreseen in the room due to the bad weather conditions. The staff was very helpful ( restaurants, parking, bicycle rent ) and friendly. The rooms are furnished in dutch style and well equiped. The bed was a little bid soft, but confortable. A pleasant stay
