Park Hotel den Haag is located in the old town, with a lot of nice restaurant within walking distance. The outside street is quiet with no traffic noise. The rooms are big (except for the bathrooms). The staff is friendly and helpful. And not to forget: the breakfast buffet (included in the room price) is excellent, and should give you a good start to your day.

All in all: very good value for your money.

I stayed in another hotel in Den Haag and had to leave because of the room condition. I found the Park Hotel on the web and it was exactly as described. Clean and friendly staff along with excellent service. The room was well equipped and bed was excellent. Great location and lots of restaurants nearby. I am very picky when it comes to accommodation and I recommend this hostel with no reservations.

Stayed in the Parkhotel Den Haag for three nights during a family trip to the Netherlands.
Pros:
* Convenient central location, within reasonable walking distance to several major attractions, museums as well as restaurants/bar scenes.
* Good buffet-styled breakfast with a wide variety of options.
* Our rooms were on the higher floor, large (per European standard) and well-appointed, overlooking the park, all with peaceful and beautiful view. Also worth mentioning was the bathroom, which was very large, clean and tastefully decorated, not something you can always find in this part of the world (my wife sure very impressed).
* Reception was polite and efficient in providing us with various info as we as at check-in and out.

Cons:
* Located in a pedestrian-only area, so it could be a bit pain to walk from your cab/trolley/bus stop to the hotel should you lug quite some luggage. But of course, this (pedestrian-only area) could also be a good thing thanks to much lower noise level on the streets.
* A fairly small lobby sometimes cramped by some music band playing live music, so it may not be your cup of tea if just looking for a relaxing sit-around.

Overall we were happy with the hotel and would consider to stay there again if visiting The Hague next time. Rating 4.0 out of 5.0.

Please go out for you food other than breakfast. The food after 19:00 served is cold, too rare cooked and poor serviced. I had a party of 18 rooms. Accomodation is good, center of The Hague. Rooms are good.
Complaints, you can throw them directly into the trashbin, no one listens.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms with a view on the Queen's Palace. Beautiful!

The hotel is situated in the City center. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the central station to the hotel and the walk is very nice. You get the opportunity to see the beautiful architecture.
But make sure that you are not meeting any cyclist. They are cycling very fast and not very careful.
The hotel must be booked through their own reception and not trough a separate booking site. The invoice is going to be very complicated for them in this case. Their system is very old. The receptionist are not very friendly either.
The room has to be on a upper floor especially in the winter. The central heating is closed between 12 pm - 6 am so you do not want to freeze in bed at night. They have rooms on the ground floor that can be quite nice at summer but definitely not in the winter.
Please make sure in case you book a superior room that the room really is superior and not only the price. Some rooms are very small even if they are called ‘’superior’’.
The breakfast can be nice some days. The hotel tries to offer an ecological breakfast up to 95% which can be noticed in the price 20 Euros.
So the hotel can be a nice alternative in the case you want to have a room right in the City centre and do not have higher expectation for the correlation between price and the value you get for the money.

Room Tip: Book a room on the upper floor.
