It's right next to the station and, at weekends (which this was), offers really great rates. The highlight here is the comfort of the rooms, with really great beds and high quality decorations. The hotel is about 200m from station so there is no noise from the trains. The weird thing on this visit (my third over the past three years) was that I tried to book some extras -- an evening meal and breakfast -- via the hotel website and pay for them in advance. On arrival, the hotel had only got a room-only booking and declined to honour the other deals, saying that I had only pre-paid for the room. I got that slightly off-hand 'that's the system, what are you going to do about it?' response that the Dutch are quite good at when I queried it. This was a bit annoying, but my recommendation to you is to stay at the hotel but not try and pre-book any extras.

Stayed just one night in Den Haag and chose this hotel for it's proximity to the parc (daughter was attending a rock concert there). Excellent location: right next to train station (didnt hear any noise from trains but maybe because we had a room facing the park instead? not sure about any rooms on the other side) : walking distance into the old centre and all the tourist locations & cafés/restaurants etc.
We had a junior suite which, as advertised, had a separate seating area. Spacious and well though out (found the seating rather hard to make much use of it - softer sofas would have been welcome). TV in both the seating area and the bedroom. very nice room - nicely decorated and would happily take the same one again :)
on the first floor is a bar & restaurant. The seating looking out of the bar is well appointed but the seats were not the comfortable (they look it but you slide forward). not a major issue though.
I decided (after walking around all afternoon) to use the restaurant rather than go back out and regret the decision. It took half an hour to just catch a waiter's eye to order and then another half an hour to get the meal ("fishermans basket") which turned out to be almost inedible as the fish was almost raw (as i'm not a sushi fan and didnt order sushi i didnt eat it) althought the chips were very nice - the side salad was minimal (2 slices of cucumber, some lettuce and half a tomatoe). i wasnt the only person who seemed to have problems as a couple a few tables away had issues with their steaks. To be fair though: once i voiced my issue they didnt charge me for the meal - just the drinks.
This is a real pity as the hotel is of very good standard (though a touch pricey) and i would recommend it. They just need to sort out the restaurant (including the service which, although friendly, seemed to lack any coherence with none of the waiters seeming to have a dedicated area to serve and rarely checking their tables to see if anyone wanted anything - they seemed to be avoiding eye contact in general and just rushing around).

Room Tip: we had a park side room and if there's a rock concert planned in the park then you'll either...

Stayed there for 1 night with the family while visiting The Hague for the weekend. Hotel is situated close to the city center and right next to the train station. The train station did not cause any issues for our night rest since we didn't hear a single train. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The one we had was not big, but more than sufficient since we spent most time on the town. Didn't make use of the restaurant or bar in the evening but did enjoy breakfast which basically had all one could desire (scarmbled eggs etc.). Overall I can recommend this hotel if you want to discover The Hague.

I almost lived in the hotel for a bit more than 4 months. Service is excellent, and the rooms are big enough and very comfortable. Although it has no gym, is right in front of a big park with running trails.

Great situation: next to the train station and walking distance from almost all major attractions.

I missed wifi connection in the bedroom (only available in the lobby and restaurant, wired connection for the rest, included in the price) and more variety for breakfast. Although it is good and with some good choices, it is exactly the same every day, and gets dull after a while.

Perfect location to explore the city... next to the train station and trams, five minute walk from the city center, and across the Haagse bos (big park). Nice room, comfortable bed, plus a clean and nice bathroom! Wireless internet connection ONLY available in the lobby. It was not bad at all, but definitely not a 4 stars hotel!

Room Tip: view to the Haagse bos (big park)

We stayed here last week and paid a bit extra for an upgrade, would not like to see a standard room if this was a surperior one. Room was very dusty, airconditioning vent was full of dust, standing lamp cover was broken and hung to one side, carpet was full of dirty marks, tap on wash basin leaked, and it goes on. I have complained to hotel and company we booked with but still waiting for an answer, would definately not recommend this hotel even though it is in a centraal position for trains, trams and centre of The Hague.

Stayed here for 2 nights and choose this hotel for several reasons. The location: it is next to train station Den Haag Centraal and next to the city center (150 meter walking and you start walking into the city center with shop and restaurants). The price: at the time of booking other 4 stars hotels were more expensive or less convenient located. We used the trainstation of Zoetermeer to park the car (a big free parking area there) and then trained to Den Haag Centraal Station. A single train ticket for less than 3 euro, compared to over 20 euro per day for parking.

The hotel has a basic lobby with check in facility. The procedure goes quick and professional, the same with the check out It seems to be not a massively big hotel, so that helps. The elevator and hallways look with atmosphere. There are not too many amenities (no pool, but an icemachine and machine for shoe polishing). The room is big, the bathroom looks nice and is clean. The room had a big bed and some couches. The bed was too hard though. The couches were the least attractive point: it seems it was not cleaned after somebody sat there with no trousers on (brown stain).

We did not try the breakfast, we found it overpriced. And the people who clean the room will not clean your room if you wake up a bit later with the 'do not disturb'-sign, they will put a bag of clean towels in front of your door. When you leave the room and see they are busy cleaning another room on the same floor, you'd expect that your room will be cleaned: but no. If you have the towelbag, your room will not be cleaned. I was surprised by that service from a 4 stars hotel, never had that before. (Not a positive surprise by the way).

So the improvement here is the team that cleans the rooms. For the rest this is a good hotel at a smart location for exploring The Hague.
