Finding a decent place to eat in Holland let alone Rotterdam is a challenge at the best of times but being accompanied by a Belgian colleague made the whole exercise far more entertaining. We settled upon Humphreys more for its exterior then it's menu, surrounded as it is by some pretty uninviting alternative options. Service was joyless but quick. The staff might have spent a bit more time wiping down the table surfaces that were punctuated with bread crumbs from the previous diners. I had salmon which was okay undone by a gooey French toast on the side. My main of tiger prawns were small little fellows and weeping for a stronger dash of seasoning. A bottle of Rioja was good for the price. My Belgian buddy was reasonably content with his offering and eventually stopped sulking so Humphreys sort of did its job.
