I will definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I'm in Rotterdam. Great location and just by the metro. Good value for money and friendly staff. The room is well appointed with a great looking jaccuzi bath which a colleague said was amazing. The shower didn't flood the room for once and had plenty of room without banging your elbows against a wall which makes a refreshing change. It could have been a bit more powerful but it's still better than the vast majority out there. The TV in the mirror whilst shaving was cool but my one gripe would be that there's no way to fill the sink with water - we don't all use an electric shaver you know!
The bar was good and service OK. We also ate in the restaurant and no complaints from any of us on that score either.
All in all one of the better hotels I've stayed in and definitely the best iun Rotterdam at that sort of price.

My partner and I run a business together so our visit to Mainport was for a business trip but also as a couple. For the price the hotel was excellent value for money, very clean and nicely decorated. We also had a sauna and jacuzzi bath in our room. The little touches added to the sense of luxury - coffee machine, rocking chair, umbrella in the wardrobe, tv screen built into the bathroom mirror. Our room looked over the river which was a lovely view from the big windows. The location is also good, only a short taxi ride to the city centre and only a 15 minute drive to the Ahoy exhibition centre.

The hotel has a small gym that I made use of a couple of times. Again very modern and clean, with running machines, cross trainers and some weights machines.

The hotel bar area is welcoming and has a nice atmosphere but the service is quite slow regardless of whether it is busy or not. One of the servers also forgot to put our order through on one occasion. The staff were very helpful and friendly though.

Only other gripes were the parking situation - only hotel option was 37 € for valet parking. The nearest car park is accessed from across the road under the Erasmus bridge and is not much cheaper - 27 € for a full day.

Also two out of the three mornings we were awoken by very loud drilling at around 8.30, which went on for about an hour. No idea where it was coming from, perhaps the harbour, but it was incredibly loud considering that we were on the 9th floor.

On the whole though, I would certainly recommend it because it is very difficult to find a hotel of the same quality for the money.

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for your extensive feedback about your stay!
We are very glad to read that you have enjoyed the hotel, the facilities and the beautiful Waterfront Spa room. Thank you for your compliments.

As the hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam, free parking is a challenge. Aside from the 2 options close by the hotel (valet parking and the parking garage on a 2 minute walk) there is also a possibility to travel via public transport (subway station in front of the hotel) or to park the car at a Park + Ride area just outside Rotterdam and continue for 10 minutes by subway. Our reservations department can provide you the detailed parking information.

We look forward welcoming you back in the near future!

Kindest regards,
Simone van der Veen

Great location near city centre, 3 subway stops from central station, near Erasmus bridge. We enjoyed a wonderful room with jaccuzi, sauna, and a great view. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. To be recommended! There is a spa, which unfortunately was fully booked, so make sure to make reservations well in advance.

This is really an excellent hotel, with all the luxury amenities you would expect (bath robe, extensive minibar with surprising stock ;-) but very reasonably priced. We had a room at the harbor side, which wasn't spectacular as far as the view was concerned, but still worth the extra money. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Tip: book the breakfast when you get there, we were offered the price of €20 instead of the €28 advertised on booking.com. no idea why. Walking distance to the great museums of Rotterdam. We'll be back if we get the chance!

We stayed one night at this relatively new hotel. Room was very clean, with great massage and bubble bath. Friendly personnel. And breakfast next morning is well worth the money. Great buffet, great choice of fresh food. Also great views from the higher floors over the Leuvehaven. Location is excellent. Close to Witte de With shopping street with bars and café's, also short walk over the Erasmusbrug to the Kop van Zuid. Should you wish to go further away (including to The Hague) the metro stop is literally right before the front door. All in all: great hotel for a pretty decent price.

Stylish, modern, comfortable hotel in a good location by the waterfront in Rotterdam. Lovely comfortable bed and stylish bathroom, with large deep bath with jacuzzi-type effects. Nude sauna and steam room, too. Ideal for a city break, with a chance to unwind and spoil yourselves.

We spent 4 nights in a water view room with sauna. Room (with view), facilities, restaurant and location are worth the 5 stars, especially if you can get some discounts via an internet booking.

The (small) sauna in the bath(room) is not really necessary if you use the H2O spa on the 8th floor, which is larger, with hammam and relax zone (with view). The H2O spa does not allow bathing suites but you can also access the Innhotel wellness space next door where bathing suites are mandatory ... including a swimming pool.

The only downside is the cleaning personnel: the room was not clean at all, every day they took our towels, but left the used coffee cups and did not supply new soap or shampoo :(.

Though described as part of the room, we did not have bath robes with slippers. We ordered them via the reception and got them within reasonable time. The day after, the cleaning personnel took them from the room when cleaning and ordering them again took ages :(.

To conclude, 28 euro for the breakfast is too expensive for what you get. You can get a custom fresh egg which is made on demand and you have some 'champagne' if you like that in the morning, but the juices are not 100% fresh, neither is the bread (for 1 day out of 4).

Room Tip: The rooms with water view are worth the extra cost, the (small) sauna in the (bath)room not.
