This Gallery, ideally situated close to the metro has one of the finest art collections in the world. Unlike some Dutch galleries the Boijmans collected international art rather than just Dutch and Flemish, although the Dutch masters are well represented. This gallery covers everything from medieval religious paintings right up to modern abstract art. The highlights are the Bosch panels, -these are not in great condition, but are still spellbinding, and the Breugel -Tower of Babel. The gallery has more paintings than wall space, but still looks to make new acquisitions, and there is also usually an exhibition of contemporary art.
