Little V successfully tries to cash in on the smart formulas of the sushi & Asian food businesses and quite rightfully so. We had the words there: small springrolls, sauteed fish or meat and the natural abundance of fresh veggies & cool beers. Great place to meet friends over dinner, it is.

I’ve eater here twice now and both times I really enjoyed the food (good quality), but not the service and noise level.

To start off with the food – the menu is 4 pages, so pretty extensive and everything is available ‘vegetarian style’ (which scores point on my list!) but the explanations of the food are limited and if you are not familiar with Vietnamese food then picking a dish is rather difficult. I’ve gone with a friend each time and we shared several starters, vegetable dishes and side dishes. For the amount of food that you get it is rather expensive, but the total amount is very decent (we spent around €20 p.p. for 1 drink, 2 starters, a soup, a vegetable dish and rice). To sum up, you get fresh, tasty and healthy food, but it takes a while to arrive.
Our drinks didn’t come for over 15 minutes and when the waitress explained the concept of ‘Little V’ she was barely audible over the crowd and holding a good conversation is difficult because of the noise. But perhaps that’s part of the Vietnamese atmosphere, a little chaotic, noisy but very cozy!
I like the fast that the waitress asked if everything had been to our liking, I told her that our food had been rather cold she told me not to hesitate and call her over. The thing is … we tried but with so many people to serve and only a few waiters catching their attention is rather difficult.

To conclude: yes the food is good, the atmosphere is nice, but the service could be faster and something should be done to reduce the noise level.

Was surprised that i could only find two little shrimps in the noodle shrimp soup. I asked the waiter how many i should have and he said five! He returned a few minutes later with two extra shrimps, which were still a bit cold, explaining that the chef says the soup should only have four shrimps.

Then another waiter asked us at the end of our meal how was the experience so i mentioned the soup with the two shrimps and he apologised saying that the chef had forgotten to cut the two little shrimps in half!

The other things we ordered were ok.

We ate there yesterday evening, and it was very good! The staff spoke very good English, and tried their best to recommend us dishes. The quality of the food was good too! If your looking for a good Vietnamese meal, go here!

Enjoyed food at this restaurant last year. Quite delicious Vietnamese food but not "original". I think the menu been changed a little bit to satisfy the taste of foreigners, but it is still worth trying if you want to have Vietnamese food in a Western style. Price is a little bit high.
