Owner description: Discover and experience the city of Rotterdam from a height of 100 meters! The platforms are accessible for everyone who is not afraid of heights. With the Euroscoop, our panoramic glass elevator, you can rotate till 185 meters. Enjoy your ride to the top and don't forget to look around; there is a beautiful metropol to discover!

Even as a citizen of Rotterdam, I went visiting the Euromast Tower again last year and still enjoyed it. First you take a fast elevator which brings you in the restaurant on about 90m height, then you have the ability to walk around on the platform outside. After that you can go into the so called Euroscoop (glass elevator) that gives you a nice panorama sight of the city.

You only have to be lucky that it's a clear and maybe even sunny day, what makes the view much wider than on cloudy days.

There is a possibility to get something to eat and have a drink; in the restaurant on ground floor or the one upstairs. The Euromast also has two hotel rooms on the platform deck.

When you're more into thrills you can even book an arrangement to abseil from the tower!

One of the more obvious spots to visit in Rotterdam. Now that the skyline has become more interesting in recent years with a lot of new skyscrapers on the Wilhelminapier the view from the Euromast has also become much more interesting. You can also take a Water Taxi from here to other places like the Wilhelminapier. Don't forget to do the upper part of this attraction when visiting it.

This attraction is approx 20 minute walk from the central station, though you can also get the metro. If you buy a Welcome card (free public transport and discounts off a number of attractions), you will get 25% off the entrance price. We chose to walk and were then able to buy a combined ticket for the Euromast and the Spido Harbour boat tour for a combined price of €17.80 per person(aged over 12 years).
The lift takes you to the viewing stage at 100 metres where you have a panoramic 360 degree view of Rotterdam, the architectural highlights and the harbour. For those brave enough....you can then get a free ride on the rotating Euroscope, which takes you up another 85 metres.

There is a Brasserie at the viewing stage, which offers afternoon tea, snacks and proper dinners or a cafe/deli at ground level. We had lunch in the Brasserie (I would advise ringing to reserve a table in advance), the food was good, but service was quite slow, though again it was a nice view. I would definitely recommend this attraction and even my 13year old son enjoyed it.

My recommendation would be to plan and visit and have lunch or afternoon tea in the tower restaurant. If you don't, your visit will last less than 30 minutes. The view from the tower is beautiful, but if it is windy outside (as it was today) you will not spend much time on the outside unprotected platform. I can't say how the food in the tower restaurant is, because we took photos from the platform and then headed straight down to the cafe at the ground level for hot chocolate - which we enjoyed though not with a view of the city. FYI. There are two hotel rooms that can be booked in the tower with fantastic views of the city.
