Incredibly beautiful architecture located close to the cruise port. This part of Rotterdam has been revived and it shows. You can not miss it when you arrive by cruise ship.

A modern bridge for cars and pedestrians which connects the northern and southern parts of Rotterdam. The design is quite unusual for modern bridges. A lot of ships pass constantly under it. At its northern end is a very busy place where one can take a tourist boat to see the largest harbor in Europe, which is an unusual experience.

Famous bridge in Rotterdam connecting the city center with Kop van Zuid the newly redeveloped business and leisure area. Beautiful to take photos early morning or at night.

‘The Swan’ is certainly spectacular in engineering design - but lets face it you just walk across, cycle across or drive across, you may even flaunt your moves by dancing across if your feeling adventurous! The views are lovely across the river Nieuwe Maas. It’s more interesting to view the bridge from another location to really get the essence of its beauty, especially on days when the sky looks grey and mischievous. But do be careful on windy days that if your wearing a hat, you hang onto it, because like in my case, it may blow off and you won’t see it again! :)
