I was there last year with my wife.Got a room facing the zoo and a highway. Room was good enough and clean bathroom. Walk around the hotel was pleasant. Staff was good and supportive. Breakfast was monotonous though. May stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms toward zoo are having good veiw.

I stayed here with a group of colleagues and the first thing we noticed were the massive arrangements of dusty plastic flowers which didn't exactly bode well for the cleaning. This was confirmed in the rooms where there was still water left in the kettle and where the carpet looked like it had seen better days.
The staff were less than welcoming, actually at times they were so grumpy and impolite that that bordered on downright rudeness. There are no irons in the rooms (bit odd for a business hotel) and when three of us requested iron and ironing boards in reception, we were told that they only had two and "you'll just have to figure it out yourself". When I asked for help carrying the large board to my room upstairs (i'm a small woman in heels and was carrying a bag), the receptionist said that it wouldn't be possible even though it was late and there were three staff members in the reception.
Even buying a bottle of water was a nightmare. The minibar was empty and to get a bottle of water, you had to have the exact amount of euro coins for a vending machine.
The bed itself was fine but the bathroom had no bathtub and had a "public toilet" feeling. Breakfast was boring (at best) and although the variety was good, the quality of food (bread etc) was poor.
As you can probably tell, I won't be staying in this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend it, not a good experience.

I stayed here with my girlfriend in order to start with a clear head for the marathon (14th of april).
Very good and friendly service at the reception!

Comfortable and clean rooms with all the necessities.
Quite environment and a smooth direct public transport connection to the city-centre:
Line 32: 10minutes
Line 33: 5 minutes

Busses came every 15min's (in weekends) and drove till midnight.

I was in Rotterdam on business and this hotel was convenient to my meetings. It's a fairly short taxi ride from the Central Station (around 12 euros) so fairly easy to get to. It's in a business area so nothing of interest nearby.
The hotel looks quite new and the lobby/reception was smart and check in efficient. The room was quite large and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The main issue in the room was the appalling internet access. Being on business I needed to download files and reports but the Wi-Fi signal was so weak it was non-existent and the wired access was painfully slow. As this hotel will primarily attract business users because of location, they must address the lack of efficient internet access - even if it is FOC.
I dined in the restaurant on both nights and the food was excellent, with an extensive menu and friendly service. The adjoining bar was also OK, and served bar snacks. Breakfast is served in the same area and provide what is now standard fare i.e a buffet breakfast. again it was OK and had a reasonable selection.

This hotel is modern, clean and tidy. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is not cheap but was almost half the price of the inner-city hotels. Travelling into Rotterdam was not a problem as it is only a 3 or 4 minute walk to the bus stop and then an 8 minute ride to the centre of town, by the train station. Or a 30 minute walk to town.
Our room was large and the beds and pillows comfortable. The walls let no sound through from the neighbouring rooms which can be a huge problem in some hotels. Good sized, clean bathroom with shower and the usual trimmings – shower gel, shampoo, body lotion ect….
If you stay here try the “surprise menu” in the evening when the chef will deliver a 3, 4 or 5 course meal. Our meal on our first night was outstanding and so we stayed for a meal the next night and were not disappointed. I would certainly go back.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a view of the city in the distance and the neighbouring zoo and lake. Alway worth a...

Visiting our son who lives in Blijdorp - 25 minutes walk. We were allowed early access to our room, at 10.30.am - very useful when arriving on ferry. Free parking - not usually available in city-centre hotels. Large clean room with a fridge - useful for breakfast provisions and drinks, without having to empty the usual minibar first. We did not try the swimming pool as it is actually at David Lloyd next door and costs 10 euro with voucher from hotel, (20 without). Modern decor both in room and in public areas. Our room overlooked this sport centre and the gardens and terraces, so pleasant view. Overall we were impressed with the general environment, but did not use the restaurants or bars at all, so unable to comment on service or food quality.

Stayed there last year in March during the Stocexpo at the Ahoy, thought I had got a good deal with the pricing, but realized the savings in room tariff is spent on taxi rides to the Ahoy. Another detterent is the non availability of eating joints nearby, one needs to hop on the bus( bus stop closeby) and pay the minimum fare of 3 Euros one way to get to the town square. Does not make sense to spend 6 Euros for a 8-10 Euros dinner.
