The restaurant is in a former warehouse building with a selection of restaurants. We decided to try Mi at 5.30pm to bridge the time between shopping and a theatre visit. The place has no view at all, but you are in the old warehouses with the original walls, which we like.
The waiter was fast (we were the first guests of the evening :) of course) and when we indicated we would like to try many small dishes, he suggested the tasting menu which would take us through dishes from many Asian countries. He suggested a different wine over what we initially ordered (same price tag though!) as that one would better suit the tasting menu.
We did indeed order the tasting menu, which offers 4 courses. You can indicate if you like 1, 2 or 3 chillies in spiciness, although even 3 chillies remains fairly western spicy levels. Absolutely not too hot... You can also indicate meat, fish or a combination, as well as vegetarian.
The food was superb, beautifully presented and more than enough in servings. The tasting menu apparently changes constantly, so we will order it again next time.
Pricing was very reasonably; 37pp for the tasting menu (4 courses), 25 for the wine, 10 for desert, 10 for coffee / water. Absolutely value for money!
We decided to return with friends for sure. We even received a 25 euro discount voucher.
The place is definitely ranked too long on TA.
