30 years ago this was a pleasant restaurant, it is no longer. Wrong ambiance, wrong clientele, wrong in almost every sense. We arrived here after a long walk and as I was driving, I ask for a carafe of tap water before orderning the wine. The reaction was: there is water on the table (5 Euro for 0.75 l., ridicolous). Tap water is safer, cleaner and about 2000 times cheaper, why not just give me some water. The menu was ok, but not exciting, rather decent prices. The table wine was ok, but the price totally ridiculous again: 27 Euro for a bottle I buy at 4 Euro in the local supermaket. If you have to spend a night in the hotel: don't eat there, take a taxi to Leiden town and enjoy a better meal. I feel ashamed of this kind of places.
