If you're lucky, you might run into the 14-years-old 'chef de cuisine' (well, I made up that title myself) who is assisting during breakfast at weekends. It's amazing how well trained and self-assured this young man works his way around guests and collegues. Like a true pro!
Perhaps one day, he will be running a 5 star, high profile property at some exotic place. Who knows. Until then you can witness his first steps into the world of hospitality, right here at this hotel, which by the way, is overall good.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, very much in the centre (opposite trainstation). Definitely an upscale version of what Ibis has to offer.More
