The museum has 7 floors, and the top ones are accessed by narrow wooden stairs like ladders which can be a bit scary when you come down again (backwards), but I thought it was well worth the effort as you can see the internal workings of the mill. There's a video when you first go in (in 4 languages including English) that gives a lot of information about windmills in Holland. One of the higher floors has an external platform which has lovely views, but you need a head for heights.
A unique attraction in a really lovely town, and good value for money (4 euros per person).
