Supper friendly staff. Breakfast cost 11.50e and it was very nice, everything necessary - warm and cold food. Room was small but bathroom was good size. Many parking slots available. Big flat screen TV in room but no fridge. Good price and quality value hotel.

Stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions on business, but have now stopped staying here.
The room rate at over 90 Euros is very expensive for something very basic.
The cleanliness of the rooms has gone downhill too. The rooms to the rear of the hotel suffer from motorway noise. Later in the evening the hotel grounds turn into a fortress, as car crime is rife in Gouda.

Stayed here as part of Dutch bike tour. Quite a way out of town centre and quite hard to find. Rooms clean enough but very basic. We ate here but the food was absolutely awful so find somewhere else. Everything was put through the microwave so the salmon for example tasted like rubber. Pudding (apple strudel) was also microwaved. Would definitely suggest you don't eat here.

We stayed here for one night while on a bicycling tour. The location was inconvenient (about a 15 minute bike ride), but pleasant (mostly through a park). It's really more of a motel than a hotel (the doors are outside). The rooms were clean and pleasant. There was a dark shade that could be lowered to cover the window, which made it nice and dark for sleeping and added privacy. Our side of the motel faced the highway, but it did not bother us. The hotel restaurant was closed except for their snack/lunch menu, so we opted to ride back into town for dinner. Overall a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: The parking-lot side may be quieter than the highway side, but the noise did not bother us.

Stayed here in June for 5 days with large group( around 60 people) of adults and children attending sports competition near Gouda. Arrived on a Dutch public holiday and restaurant was not open and hardly any staff on so it was very hectic.Staff were very busy but they were really helpful and pleasant. Rooms were small but eqipped with everything you need and were very clean. Not very near town so we had to get taxis to go and find food but Gouda is a lovely town and there are lots of places to eat.

We had very early starts some mornings and the restaurant opened early for us and also provided take away breakfasts if required. The breakfast was really good with a huge variety of stuff from bacon and eggs to muffins and fresh fruit and they offered "doggy bags" if you wanted to take stuff for snacks during the day. Our big group took over the hotel and we were up late some nights but the staff were always very polite and extremely helpful even though rushed off their feet sometimes. Would definitely stay there again - good value basic hotel.

I stayed here during a business trip along with 5 other colleagues, after reading the reviews of the hotel I was somewhat apprehensive but as we were only staying one night we weren't too concerned if it was a poor as described by other travellers.
In summary the hotel was fine for the price; the rooms were basic but functional and had everything required. The rooms have external shutters and also mosquito mesh on the windows so we had no issues with insect bites which others have written about. The staff were nice and polite and organised a taxi for us into the centre of town as we felt that town would offer a better selection of food vs. the hotel’s restaurant as this felt very basic and was uninhabited which made us slightly nervous! The hotel is in a semi industrial area and also has a large road to its side so some of my party also noted that the road traffic was somewhat irritating which forced them to keep their windows closed. Breakfast was acceptable and offered a reasonable selection of food to satisfy most tastes. This is definitely a budget hotel and those expecting high levels of luxury should stay well clear but for those looking for a basic place to rest there head the hotel should be fine.

Good basic friendly hotel. Is a bit out of town but there are few hotels in town and there is a bus service nearby. We did not use this as parking on Sunday is free in Gouda and quiet. The retaurant at weekends is very basic but had enough to suit us. (Lasagne/pizza/omelette etc). Rooms and communal areas pleasant. I would go back if staying in Gouda again
