We arrived without reservations (mid December) and were able to check in to a large comfy room with no stairs! Very quiet, nice breakfast with hot items and fresh coffee. Clean, neat, cute, convenient. Staff we're very accommodating and helpful.

Delft is a wonderful historic town.

Staying at Hotel de Emauspoort ensures you are right in the heart of the town, literally next door to the spectacular Nieuwe Kerk, just a stone's throw from the main places of interest and very close to the best cafes, bars and restaurants in and around Delft's impressive market square. This hotel has location, location, location.

But there's so much more. It's a family-run hotel so it is friendly hence the staff are always very helpful and ready to give useful advice on what and when to visit. The 'big' breakfast will set you up for the whole day ahead. And of course they speak English fluently.

This little gem of a hotel has ensured we make the most of our visits to Delft .. and, as a result, for us Delft has become very special. Which is why we keep on going back.

We'll already planning another visit next November/December.

Our stay at the Emauspoort could not have been better. As soon as we walked into the lobby we knew we were in for a charming trip! Our lovely room overlooked the canal and the Niew Kirk. We were treated to the sound of the church chimes, a view of swans floating past our room and comfortable accommodations. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee was perfect. The city of Delft and the Emauspoort provided us with an unforgettable trip. We hope very much to return soon!

we stayed in room 18, on the first floor, up some slippery steel stairs, a small room and floor of wood, could hear every movement in the room above us. I believe the outside "caravans" are better, but they were full during our stay. it is centrally situated, close to shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: ask for one of the "caravans" outside.

Title says it all. Nice hotel, welcoming atmosphere, and nice breakfast. Stayed in Vermeer room - delightfully quirky and with a comfortable bed. Great hotel for a short break in town centre in a lovely town.

Stayed in this delightful hotel for a short break and would definitely want to return. Clean, fresh and extremely comfortable bedrooms round a delightful, enclosed, traffic free courtyard.

Good breakfast with big choice - never did find out how they make those very yummy hot, eggy bacony sort of things but they are delicious!

You don't need a car in Holland, their public transport is so easy to use and this hotel, set by a delightful ancient footbridge, down a tiny cobbled street, is just a few yards away from Delft's lovely central square with it's surrounding sights, coffee shops, restaurants and seemingly the entire population of Delft cycling sedately past you in various extraordinary combinations of mums, dads, babies and children on trikes, bikes and little wooden sidecars.

You couldn't have better than this hotel for a delightful, relaxing stay in old Delft, just an easy train ride away from Schiphol and Amsterdam Central station.

I spent a week there ending 10/29/2013 and it is absolutely a jewel. If you are looking for a big chain style hotel with bars and restaurants this is the opposite. Family owned and managed it is exceptionally hospitable in every way. A very nice breakfast included as is wi-fi. The location absolutely cannot be better for exploring the historic central part of the "Oude Deft"
