Our first night of a week's long trip in Europe with our daughters 8 and 12. The hosts were welcoming, the room was quiant and clean and perfect for 4! They gave us a wonderful dinner recommendation and breakfast the next day was lovely. This stop was one of our favorites for the week!

Room Tip: The lofted room was perfect for a family.

This was an absolutely fantastic & quaint hotel. We were so well look after with the owner/manager ringing other hotels for us in Utrecht to stay the next night.
Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.
We couldn't stay in the gypsy caravans as they were booked out so book in advance if you wasn't to enjoy that experience

Our visiting university group of 17 stayed in 9 of this small boutique hotel's rooms for 3 nights. All the staff we met were warm, friendly and very helpful. On the first morning we were there, it was cold and started to snow. I realized that it would be a terrible 30-minute walk over to our meeting at Tu Delft University, and asked the hotel manager if he could arrange van taxis for us, which he did graciously (thank you!).

The hotel is made up of several small buildings with an inviting inner court yard and several log cabin-like gypsy caravans (very strange) which must be accommodations for families? As we were there in an unseasonably cold 3 days in mid-March, we did not sit outside, but I would think this would be a quiet lovely place to sit in the warmer weather.

The location of this hotel is terrific, right behind the large church in the main market square. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station, but centrally located near shops, restaurant, many of which are off the main square. It's a very easy town to navigate and walk.

I had room 107 on the first floor, which was a very large double room (very spacious) with a lovely bathroom containing both a separate shower and very deep bathtub (which I loved soaking in). My colleague had a smaller, cozy double on the second floor, room 210 (as I recall). There was an electric kettle and tea bags and instant coffee in the rooms.

Most of the students had small doubles, some on the third floor across the coutyard that were like rooms in attics (slanted roofs). On of our students couldn't sleep in this room so she switched with another student not in a slanted room). Our 3 male students had this amazing two-level 'townhouse' suite. I recall it was named 'Pippi Longstocking' in Dutch (rooms had names), that would be perfect for a family. There was also a refrigerator and small kitchen. The boys loved it!

Breakfast was served in a lovely breakfast room. We had breakfast included in our room rate. Although the Dutch pancakes were not made to order, they were pre-made (so a bit cold if you arrived a bit later), they were none-the-less delicious. Good buffet of cheeses, meats, breads, pastry, and cereal, fruit and yogurt, which is what I eat. The coffee was also excellent, strong, and I could ask for as many cups as I could drink (important).

I had stayed at the Bridges House Hotel in Delft in summer 2006. If I was by myself, I would stay at the Bridges House Hotel again, but with a group, this hotel worked out much better.

Room Tip: I mentioned several rooms in my review.

Hotel de Emuauspoort is the place to base yourself for a week or a weekend in Holland. Right in the centre of the wonderful city of Delft. Be enchanted by the church bells, wake up to a warm and friendly breakfast. Walk around, hire a bike, catch the train for day trips to other parts of Holland. Genuine family hospitality.

We take a deep breath and hope nothing will have changed when we return every year and ....... nothing has. Except that the magnificent breakfasts have become even more so. Location is truly the Vermeer view of Delft. Rooms are bright and comfortable and clean. And the family of the hotel is always there and always looking for ways to make our stay more special.

After spending a week in Rotterdam ( for business ) we decided to head to Delft for the night. Found this place on trip advisor whilst having a coffee in Delft.
Location is perfect, we had parked our car in the market car park - 2 min walk away. ( 7 euro a day)
Room was very clean, service delightful, free breakfast delicious.
Free wifi...
I would certainly recommend this place to everyone. I love this place .....
Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

We have stayed in this hotel on quite a few occasions, and it never disppoints. It is a super friendly, family run hotel, and everyone is always very helpful and friendly.
The location couldn't be better for exploring all that Delft has to offer, as well as being a good base for exploring various other places in Holland.
The hotel can pride itself on showcasing the typical Dutch high standards of cleanliness, and a good Dutch breakfast. We have stayed in various rooms over the years, and they have all been very comfortable.
The rooms are good value for money, especially when you take into account its location.
I hope every guest will enjoy their stay as much as we have.
