During a recent city trip to Delft we decided to dine at this restaurant. Beautiful location and situated at the Prinsenhof opposite Delf's "Oude Kerk". Friendly staff and they were flexible when I ordered dinner and asked if I could have a warm starter as a main course. That did not seem to be a problem, just as dessert. I spotted a dessert which was part of a set menu and not included on the a la carte menu but I still managed to order dessert chosen. We currently live in Belgium where we regularly dine and where the food served is amazing. The food (Dutch/French) we had at "de Prinsenkelder" was fresh and cooked properly (scallops) but it missed the "wow factor" which we are being treated to when dining in Belgium. However, the restaurant seems popular and was nearly fully booked, there was a nice atmosphere and we have no hesitation in recommending it.
