Bridges House Hotel
Ranked #11 of 15 Hotels in Delft

A group of us spent a long week-end in Delft last week. We were looking for a traditional charming small guest hotel close to the city center. We were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted on arrival. The Hotel has recently taken on new owners and undergone some renovations. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious and well fitted. There is no mini bar, but the beds are comfortable, and extra pillows were delivered on request. A variety of tv channels for the anglophones were a welcome surprise. The bathroom was huge with an extra long bath, perfect for relaxing in after a full day of sight-seeing. Breakfast was served from 08:00 - 11:00 (on week-ends) with a variety of breads, croissants, meats, cheeses, cereals and even a "dutch omelete" happily produced when requested, all in an open plan eating area. It's only a 5 minute walk to the market place, offering a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The hotel was just what I was looking for.
The rooms are quite large and very clean. The staff is friendly and breakfast was a delight for a 3 star hotel. The walls are a bit thin so you might hear people coming up the stairs during the night.
But all in all a great place and close to the center. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Delft.

Room Tip: Hotel has no lifts, so it's better to ask for a room on the first floor

This converted seventeenth-century house is in the historic heart of Delft, facing a canal at the front. It is within walking distance of Delft train station, through very extensive reconstruction works which however do not impinge on the surroundings of the hotel. This is the quintessential modern boutique hotel, offering very high-quality accommodation in quiet surroundings and an excellent buffet breakfast and evening bar service at a very competitive price. Strongly recommended.

Room Tip: Watch the stairs!

With a perfect location overlooking the prettiest canal in Delft, we were given a warm welcome at this comfortable, charming hotel. The rooms are a decent size and as warm as toast, the breakfast pretty good, it's easy to get on the internet. A perfect pension type hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the canal

Stayed at Bridges Hotel Delft from 26th - 31st December 2012. This is an excellent hotel, with spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. The staff are most friendly and attentive, our thanks to Adrie who attended to breakfast and lots more. There was a good buffet selection at breakfast time, along with bacon & eggs & toast if you wish. I would definitely recommend you try De Kromme restaurant, just a short walk away & run by the same owners. A very good holiday was had by my family and we will definitely be returning, thank you.

I had a friend that was in need of cheering up so my husband and I stayed at the Bridges House hotel for only $66 per night. We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff checked us in very quickly, the room was spacious and clean. We were very happy with a large bathroom and shower. We were not in the hotel for anything but sleeping. As for the breakfast, I am not able to comment we didn’t eat there.

My husband, our two adult children and I stayed here in July 2012. We had two rooms next to each other. This was the only hotel that was not going to earn me points, but it was so worth it! The Delft train station is not far, and even though it was sprinkling, we walked with our drag bags. Delft is such a wonderful haven of calm. We found this hotel in the Rick Steve's guide books, a necessity when traveling in Europe! We found out later that our rooms were recently converted from being space in the attic. They were modern and just lovely! We had the best view of the church clock tower. It glowed in the night and was wonderful to look at. This is the historic home of the artist, Jan Steen. We were able to see his works in the Rijksmuseum and later in Vienna. I don't have words to describe standing in front of one of his paintings and knowing that you slept in his house! The owner and staff were amazing. We really enjoyed the open air market in the square the day that we left. We also took the tram to Den Hague, where, although we did not get in to the Peace Palace, (it is only open on the weekend for tourists, we did go through the little exhibit and felt like we had the update.) It was well worth it!

Room Tip: We stayed in the attic rooms. Just know that the stairs are a bit...well....small and tight. The v...
