Good location, next to a beautiful canal.
It's a bit old and noisy but staff are nice and helpful.
There's a bar, which is small, but nice to get a drink with friends and family before bed.
Breakfast has great coffee and all the good food basics.

I will give a plus for the location of this hotel, as it is downtown and close to resturants and other severities. But the hotel itself had small rooms, it wasnt possible to close the window at the room i had and it was facing towards the street with a road outside ( Little traffic, but still ) and CLOSE TO A CHUCH TOWER which made noises every hour the intire night. So unless you can sleep thru war, that bell will wake you up. The breakfast was small and didnt taste anything.

Room Tip: Away from the streets and churchbell might help some..

This hotel is ideally located essentially next to the Olde Kirk and a short walking distance to other key Delft attractions. It does not have a restaurant but there are plenty everywhere around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No on-site parking but it is available in a garage about 100 meters away. Only negative is major construction going on behind the hotel which will continue through 2013. However, we never had any noise in the room, it was only the view that was spoiled a bit (the construction area had been an old train station so I do not think there was much of a view in that direction anyway). Our room was in the back building and was very nice.

Overpriced and certainly not 4 star, not even the interesting decor items an historical building can make up for poor service.

We stayed one night. From the train station about a 20 minute walk depending on weight of suitcases. Took a taxi back to the station on leaving for 8 euros. Hotel is almost opposite the Oude Kerk and a few minutes walk from the main square, Vermeer museum, New Kerk and most of the main sights. We had room 016 on the ground floor of the residence along a small road and unlike other comments we heard no noise but there is also no view from the room. Huge bathroom with a tub my wife liked although the design of the bath was a bit odd, shower was good. Room was large a bit worn but perfectly fine and a firm mattress. Mini bar in the room we did not use. Breakfast was your basis continental but perfectly fine. Staff were excellent and although no wi fi in the room it does have a cable and you can use the wi fi in the main reception just fine. Really enjoyed our stay there especially the history of the hotel and each room having bits of tile art. Overall I would stay again if we visited Delft.

Room Tip: The hotel is split into three separate areas. The residence area where we stayed was very quiet
