We went on a Sunday in February and even then there was a lady doing the hand painting. A very interesting, very clear and beautiful exhibition that also explains the pottery production process. The halls are made with splendid and colourful ceramic tilingsand we had not expected to find such beautiful garden.

No visit to Delft is complete without a stop at this factory/museum. It is not large, so you won't get worn out, but you will learn a lot and see beautiful ceramics. You'll meet an artist painting the porcelain and have an opportunity to talk to him or her. The audio tour provides additional details. The gift shop is, of course, the last stop, and if you want to spend some serious money, you can buy some beautiful pieces. But there are souvenirs for any budget as well.

There is also a small cafe.

Delft is a historian's playground. The Royal Delft factory and museum is a great place to see and find out about the history of blue and white ceramics.
Delft is famous for it's Delftware and this is the only operating factory left in Delft. It was amazing the see how the porcelain pieces are made and the handpainted artwork is beautiful.
A must see for those who are blue and white china lovers.

This is worth the visit. The Delft artwork on the porceleyne is stunning. The whole tour through the factory and the stages of artwork, is great to see. I would recommend a visit to Royal Delft. There is a shop at the end of the experience where you can buy small gifts or souveniers. Thank you for a great experience.
