We stayed two night in the hotel. The location is great: at the sea and beach, very near the dunes, yet close to the centre of Vlissingen. Correct rooms with balcony on the sea. As the room warmed up during the day, i wonder how hot it will become during hot summer days... Breakfast OK. Friendly service.

This place is centrally located along the boulevard of Vlissingen. The lobby is very nice, and rooms are decent. We did not like the fact that we could not control the room temperature (there was boe aircon and the heating system control was overheating the room). Also the tap water was not hot all the time. We did not have a good sea side view unfortunately. Despite this, and some miscalculation of the waiter while making the lobby drinks bill, the hotel was a pleasant experience. Breakfast was good.

I stayed for 3 nights with a business party of 3 having paid well in excess of £1200 for three sea view rooms. One surpassed expectations but the other 2 were disappointing for price. One room had peeling wall paper, a bad draft around the balcony door, a hook off the back of the bathroom door ( hanging off on arrival) and a scarcity of towels - maids didn’t replace so we had to ask for more. We also discovered we were expected to pay 1 Euro extra for tea in our rooms if we wanted it ( per bag). In my room I had a major issue with wi fi connectivity, a bed that hadn’t been made for 3 days ( I know because a had made it myself), a collection of dust and old wallpaper behind my bed ( see photos), and noisy air con. The inability to softly close hotel doors means you are disturbed by lots of banging doors. Quality of breakfast was good and evening meal okay but not what I’d expect of a hotel with this star rating. Overall very disappointed to have paid such a high price for what turned out to be an average experience. Looks good on the surface but needs to do better.

nice at the beach, with view on the Westerschelde. Modern entrance, modern bar and kitchen. Rooms are well furnished and cosy. Short walk to city centre. Food is may be not high level, but correct for Holland. Breakfast ok
