really good for childrend. you can have a stroll in the pirate past history with a lot of activities things to see and small show included. ther'is a small acquarium and a pirate tavern where to eat and rest. Don't lose the nice view on the cost and on the city from the top of the museum. Take a couple of hour and is perfect when is raining....
The cost is medium but include on it the good dutch organization.

We visited on a Thursday, a family of 3 adults and 2 kids, we Paid € 70.00, we spent roughly about an hour! The place is just okay! Not well maintained!.....Small variety of fish, the Aquarium occupies perhaps only 20% of the space, the rest is just tacky ‘pirates’ playing ground for kids! Not really worth the money....for kids above the age of 8 this would be super boring! The worst part was a part of the museum depicting a pirate ship! With a display of a ridiculous "naked" manikin in a “red light district like” window displaying a prostitute, dead pirates, ghosts and corpses!....this was the least fun and unnecessary really!

We rode here on rainy day & were disappointed with the dark, musty exhibits that were only available in Dutch. The pirate show (also in Dutch) was a joke with a voice recording that a student acted poorly too. Only highlight was the aquarium with ability to touch some sea critters.
