“Unique museum, unique collection in Europe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

I like this museum because it is solely dedicated to contemporary Aboriginal Art, both including traditional Aboriginal art and socalled urban art made by Ab. artists.. Nice giftshop. The museum is not too large scale, so you can visit it in about 1,5 hrs. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.

“Educational and relaxed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

Being Australian I am familiar with aboriginal art but for most Europeans it can appear " easy " and maybeat first glance even trivial, which it is definitely not. This museum gives art lovers and cultural lovers the chance to become familiar with not only traditional aboriginal art but also modern aboriginal .My English friend was very intrigued and enjoyed this small but friendly museum.

“More of a gallery than museum”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012

We just happen to walk past this place, so decided to pop in. Its a large gallery type place, with no real explaination to the area. After climbing the stairs we found that there was a theme for it by Gordon Bennet on aborigional art, but only some of it felt like it was actually worth saying it as a museum, but for the rest, neither of us could see the point of it. It felt more like a gallery as there was prices under some of the paintings....

“Avoid this, and spent your money better!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

Expensive, boring, and nothing to do. This so-called "museum" is a rippof. Small, uninteresting commercial tourist trap. High price for no value. Beautifull location though! Buy an icecrean for your money, and walk the surroundings instead!

“Waste of time and money”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2012

When we went it was Nov'11 and the ticket cost 8euro for no reason.
The museum doesnt have something interesting to show you, neither it has many paintings. It is a very small museum with a big price and no interesting stuff!
Do something else with your time and avoid the visit there
