This was a popular place, but seemed to be mostly popular with out-of-towners. Maybe that should have been a clue. The food itself was pretty good. The Tom Yam in particular was delightfully spicy and very flavorful, but the prawns had been cooked in the broth way too long and were tough and tasteless.
I had green curry chicken for the main, and it was tasty but lacked the signature spice I expected. Also, having asked for steamed rice twice when I ordered, I finally gave up and ate the fried rice they brought me. It was not worth making a scene. Other than the rice mistake, the service was friendly and prompt.
