I am 10 years old and like rocks anyway. But this museum draws people who aren't interested in rocks into the thrilling subject of Geology. You can search for pan for 'Fool's Gold' and find little fragments of rocks and minerals, cut a rock (geode) open hoping to find a crystal inside, and there's a quiz for children. I would recommend this museum widely. When you cut the Geode open it is thrilling to look inside. There is a huge shop and in the museum there are some living caymans (crocodiles) and turtles - so don't be fooled if they're not moving. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though most of the information was in Dutch we managed to work it out.
