We were looking for somewhere to get a snack before we boarded the ferry to Newcastle. From the outside, on a grey day, it did not look like we could expect much. However, once we got inside we found a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was prompt and very friendly. The barman explained the menu ( it was in Dutch), patiently. I had steak, rare, and my wife had goat's cheese salad. The steak was cooked to perfection. The salad was a good size, fresh and tasty. We'll be back.
