The exterior of this church is beyond beautiful and elaborate. Even if you cannot get in (renovations underway prevented entry on our visit in July 2017), the exterior is worth seeing. If going inside is your main goal, check to make sure it is open. Signage said it was open on our visit, but it was not open and scaffolding on one entire section precluded entry to the whole church.
