This hip looking cafe, which faces the main square, is great for people watching. Besides its strategic location, it also serves delicious traditional cuisine with a twist, and in hearty portions too. The chicken satay came with a sprinkling of grated coconut over a peanut gravy so robust and flavourful, we scraped up every bit of it. The accompanying salad, a variety of leaves topped with pumpkin seeds, pine nuts and sprouts, was light and refreshing, which provided a nice balance to the richness of the satay.
The seafood stew came with generous chunks of fish and other seafood floating in a rich creamy soup base which made for a very satisfying meal too.
To top it off, service by its runway model-lookalike waitstaff was friendly and warm. Recommended.
