We were surprised to find this restaurant in the center of Haarlem. Though a bit dark on the outside the interior is really nice and warm.
They serve Basque 'pintxos' here and they are doing a good job. As you come in you are welcomed by the small dishes on the bar, just like in Spain. You are free to take the ones you like and pay per piece. Some are standard like a really nice potato ommelet, others are more special like a bite with chicken, nori leaves and chorizo.
After we had some pintos we tried a really nice piece of beef (very rare) and the dish with vegetables in a plastic foil. Very tasty!
This place is as close as it comes to a Basque restaurant outside the Basque country.
