A HUGE church which is amazing inside. My favourite part was the 30m tall pipe organ which Mozart played when he was 10 years old.
On entry you get an information booklet (multiple languages available) which is very interesting.

Gift shop has a nice guide for visitors to the church. It is still in use for services so you need to be willing to work around that

A lovely church, though huge in size. It has been confirmed that Mozart gave an organ recital when calling at Haarlem on his European tours.

You see the St Bavo from far, since it is situated on an old dune (you wouldn't notice that from close by though). The greatest interest of the church is perhaps the organ - internationally known to be among the finest in the world. Check out for concerts on their website. There is another St Bavo church away from the centre, built around 1900, known as the catholic St Bavo. Is also worth a visit, and their children's choir world famous. Also check for concerts.
