“Pretty good”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

We were here on Kingsnight and the takeaway side of the business was booming. There were max 5 people in the restaurant and the one person serving was run off her feet. The massaman curry was not really what we expected - the sauce was quite thin in comparison to what we've had before. It was tasty though, but more like a red curry. The Thai omelette was really not what I expected. I'd been dying to try one since I saw the Hairy Bikers have one. Mine was literally a Western style omelette covering a really super sweet sauce with veg, chicken and prawns. I got about two thirds of the way through until I just couldn't eat anymore. One big plus though was a really decent portion of rice, the prices are reasonable and the decor was nice. It wasn't bad, just not great.

“One order, different quality dishes. Not impressed.”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

Ordered take away from this place where we had good meals before. Delivered quickly, the meal had dishes of very different quality. Mixed starters had nice fish cake and tasty wonton. The deep-fried chicken and spare-rib were too dry and tasted like... oil. The sate was dry.The massaman with pork however was nice and full of flavours. The fact that the potatoes had not been in the sauce for long and were white and bland on the inside didn't even spoil the overall taste. The chicken in red curry presented well with clearly fresh and crispy vegetables in it, but the whole dish including the meat tasted mostly of coconut cream. I had much better memories of this place. It might be the fact this was a delivery meal. Will try again to ascertain.

“Top Thai food with a smile”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

This small, cozy restaurant is quickly overlooked because it does not have the exposure from the street it deserves. Once inside we were welcomed in the most friendliest manner with a true Thai smile. The restaurant can hold approx 30 people but it was not busy the evening we were there.
The menu is extensive and detailed. We had the Pang sit (nice and crispy fried) and Shrimp soup (with fresh cilantro and Bamboo shoots). As maine course we had King Fish with veggies, garlic (lots of it) and rice. What a treat.
The bill was a almost the best surprise of the evening!!
Highly recommended

“Super nice curry and service with a smile.”
Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

The place is located very near to the big market square, so perfect to end with after a day of enjoying the center of Haarlem.

We had 2 tea, 2 soups, a vegetarian tofu in green curry and a fish fillet with veggies coated together 39 Eur. So very doable price.

The food tasted just lovely. The curry was served with plenty of white rice to cool down the curry spice ;) I could eat the curry with rice alone for the whole meal and stay satisfied.

The service is kind and polite. The owner came to check twice if all was to our liking. And we didn't need to wait too long for our food.

Decoration and atmosphere are cosy. The place cannot fit more than 30 people i guess. There was a table that also allowed us to fit the baby stroller.

I'd come back!
