Central location is great. The apartment is lovely. The host Gert was very helpful. Would stay again.
Nice apartment plenty of space, close to all amenities and was met by gert who showed us to the room were upon arrival the room was clean and tidy and a free bottle of wine off gert:) would definitely recommend this place!!!
Loved this apartment it was alot bigger than thought, when we arrived in Amsterdam we contacted Gert to let him know we'd landed so he could arrange to meet us. Gert met us outside there is a lift to the apartment we got shown around and each handed a set of keys. There was bottles of water in the fridge and a bottle of wine along with some essentials for a cuppy. Anyone who suffers from OCD like myself no need to worry as I found the apartment clean and it's stocked up with cleaning products. I can't fault this apartment it has everything you need or it's location it's only a 20mins away from central station also communication with owner was excellent he even let us stay longer on our last day due to his next guests arriving later we would defo book again.
Great, roomy, central location, especially with 2 teen/pre-teen kids. Close to public transportation. Gert was a wonderful host - easy to communicate with, met us at apartment and even offered to send us a forgotten belonging.
Absolutely loved our weekend in Amsterdam! The apartment was fantastic, with amazing decor and living space. Couldn't have asked for a better location either. On to Gert, who owns the apartment. What a man! He welcomed us with a big smile, some beers and a bottle of wine! Also after a misunderstanding on our behalf, he let us off some of the cost. Highly recommend anyone that wants to come and see Amsterdam, to stay in this beautiful apartment!
We will definitely be using Gert and his place again, loved it!
would recommend this place to everyone.
Great apartment in a really good spot in amsterdam, easy to get to and get was very helpful.
We stayed for 2 nights 3 days and couldn't have picked a better apartment to stay in! I'll try to just give you the highlights of the apartment but it was overall brilliant in every way.
Gert is a wonderful host, from the booking process through to our last day he was helpful polite and welcoming in every way. The booking process was simple and he was easily contacted when we arrived in Amsterdam. He carried our suitcases upstairs, provided a bottle of wine for our trip, and held our bags for us so we could enjoy our last day to its fullest. He was fantastic and I would definitely book with him again on my next visit.
We were really in the heart of everything. A stones throw from Rembrantsplein your every transport need is within walking distance. We easily got from Schipol Airport to the apartment and the odd tuktuk ride was not expensive back in some of the most beautiful streets you've ever seen. There are plenty of places to eat surrounding the apartment, namely Van Dobben for some traditional BitterBallen. we also went to the restaurant two doors down and the food was outstanding.
The apartment had everything you could need. The lounge area was comfortable and the view from the balcony is just amazing you really feel the vibe of the city from up there. The apartment is smoking friendly but not cannabis, but if you are there for that you are more than provided for with two friendly coffeeshops on the same road as the apartment.
The shower was hot and powerful, the beds were insanely comfortable we slept like babies, and the apartment was warm 24/7 which in early february was a godsend.
There was a tumble dryer which made our soaked clothes on the first night easily sorted, and Gert had left plenty of refreshments for us to satisfy any need. The apartment has a lift and one staircase so even for those who find stairs a chore this place is perfect. Anddddd there is even a store underneath which provides all the essentials you could need as a traveller to Amsterdam.
THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL, We will be back and we will be booking with Gert, the apartment is truly monumental and really worth the money.
Thank you Gert!!
