Lovely little bar and cafe, relaxed atmosphere, full of locals talking and laughing at the bar, tables for eating at the back.
My husband and I shared a delicious cheese fondue which came with plenty of bread and a small side salad, just what we needed after a rainy day sightseeing, we had traditional apple pie for dessert which was also good.
Despite the cafe being very busy we did not feel at all rushed to finish and service was friendly but laid back.
The cost was reasonable for Amsterdam and the food tasted much better than other restaurants we had tried nearer Dam Square which have to cater for much larger numbers and a faster turn around of diners.
